CA Celebrates Continued Partnership with The Scots College – Brighton Campus

Creator Academy is pleased to celebrate the continuation of its partnership with The Scots College – Brighton Campus, marking the second year of delivering Scratch coding and LEGO Education programs at the school.

Over the past year, students at Brighton have engaged in hands-on STEM learning through programming and robotics activities using the Creator Academy CodePlay™ system. These programs help develop essential skills in coding, problem solving, teamwork and technical design, while encouraging creativity and curiosity through practical, project-based learning.

Creator Academy Head Coach Garry Law said the ongoing partnership reflects the strong commitment of the Brighton Campus staff to building meaningful STEM learning opportunities for their students.

“It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm of the students and the strong support from the teachers at the Brighton Campus,” said Law.

“Through Scratch coding and FIRST LEGO League, students are learning how to think logically, solve complex problems and build real technical skills. We’re excited to continue working with the school as these programs grow in their second year.”

The program uses LEGO Education robotics platforms and structured coding activities to introduce students to computational thinking and engineering design in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Head of The Scots College Brighton Preparatory School, Rod Stoddart, said the program reflects the school’s commitment to preparing boys for a rapidly changing world.

"Technology will shape the world our boys will inherit, so it is important they move beyond simply consuming it to understanding how it works. Programs like this allow students to build, test and refine ideas, developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them well in the future."

Creator Academy looks forward to another successful year working with the staff and students at The Scots College – Brighton Campus as they continue developing their coding and robotics capabilities.
